I’ve been a fan of Maino for a minute. Unfortunately, his songs usually aren’t quite mainstream-acceptable so I’m not expecting to hear his name coming out of the mouth of the local radio DJ. With songs like “Gun With A Body On It” and “We Hit ‘Em,” he definitely proves that he has skills and flow. But “All I Need” shows that he has the potential to crossover & ease his way into the ears of a broader audience. Trey Songz’ chorus is definitely smooth as hell with Maino listing the things necessary for him to be content. Nothing too heavy so that you could easily play this one with your lady in the car.
And when she asks you to hear more from Maino, you may want to remind her to buckle up.

Maino is fucking trash, isn’t he the same dude who made that wack-ass track talking about “Wu-tang is dead/Roca-fella is dead/Ruff Ryders is dead” shut the fuck up!!! Dude’s barely a blip on My radar, most notably because of the song “Rumors”, His ties to Lil Kim, His “beefs” with Lil Cease (who He allegedly robbed for His jewelry) & another Brooklyn B-Lister, Gravy ( Most famously know for getting shot in the ass outside of Hot 97 & proceeding to go ahead & do a radio interview). May not be a lyrical beast but this is Dude’s second deal with a major & that Grand Hustle affiliation is a big co-sign.
