Some Sessions take place by random occurrence.
Long story short, I’ve been rockin to the underdog of the P$C, Big Kuntry, for a while now, especially in more recent months. When any of us from the Crew starting listening to & liking an artist, that’s generally how these interviews get setup. Calls are made, wires connected and, boom, it’s a done deal if we’re lucky.
Last week, after I got the number, I called Kuntry on my way to the grocery store, hoping to set up a proper time to do the interview later in the week. However, we started talking and the convo got so good, I told him, “Fuck it man. You sound so ready, let’s do this shit now.” I don’t do interviews too often anymore, but for this one I was game. So while what you’ll hear is about fifteen minutes into our original convo, you’ll get to know more about Kuntry, his upcoming mixtape with the aptly-titled album, My Turn To Eat, soon to follow, T.I.’s legal drama, the P$C as a whole…and pretty much everything in between.

Is necessary that one tightens the elbows!
good interview.
i don’t really fuss with P$C. not that the music isn’t good, i’m just a little bitter about them co-opting the p$c from living legends member luckyiam.psc. lucky’s my dude and it led to him dropping the psc from his name to avoid being confused.
i guess i hold a grudge.
i did bump 25 to life for a hot minute. i’ll have to give him another listen. any solo linkage?
btw, anyone linkedin?
connect with me.
should have figured the linked button wouldn’t work.
linkedin pro via my name if anyone wants to link up.
Big Kuntry King has definitely grown on Me. From a weed carrier to an artist in His own right. It took Me a while to see the vision, but once I started to hear the music, I couldn’t stunt. Dude is ready for Prime Time.
By the way, great interview, Gotty!
Any links for the Big Kuntry mixtape? The P$C/Grand Hustle mixtapes?
P.S. Is that the same Rashad wh produced Favorite Drug from Styles P’s “Time Is Money”? I also remember Dude doin hooks on a couple of Neptunes productions (i.e.Love You Better by LL Cool J) If so, Dude is crazy talented & should be getting more of a push from Grand Hustle.
I’ll try to link the old mixtape w/Burn One in a few. That’s the one that made me pay attention to Kuntry.
Rashad is from the D I think. “Tell’em What They Wanna Hear” Rashad. Posted that video a few weeks ago & been reppin the song for a while. Not sure of his outside work.
& I was literally driving then in the store while on the ph w/buddy. No prep time so pardon any shit that may have gotten left out.
& yeah, I’m country lol. Thought yall knew that?
Mendoza 83.
yea he from the d, that single was mad old tho,
@Amp – rashad had a mixtape out a min ago i think called special delivery. he got some other popular songs out like HipRoll that got some attention out here in the D, but its almost like dude disapeard once it hit that he was with Grand Hustle
^ Good lookin.
“Tumblin’ Dice” Rashad?
What year did the Cocaine mixtape come out? “Believe It” (Track 12) flips the same sample as “Say Hello” from American Gangster.
Great look and great interview Gotti. Much love my dude
I know I’ve rocked to it for more than a summer for sure. Dare I say two but I can’t really remember.
