How come nobody sent me any notification that Tragedy Khadafi aka The Intelligent Hoodlum aka Percy L. Chapman was locked in the belly of the beast?
Got an email from Miranda Jane about her pr-client Tragedy Khadafi. I hadn’t realized that he’s been in Riker’s for the past few months, and last week he was convicted of a class C felony aka “Criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 4th Degree” and sentenced to 0-4 years in prison.

Pretty thorough list, TC…I’d only change “Eardrum” to “Return Of The Mac”. Been a Mobb Deep fan since “Hit It From The Back” so I gotta fuck with V.I.P. “Waiting To Inhale” & “8 Diagrams” get honorable mentions & “Mood Music 3.5″ & Public Enemy No. 1″ get love on the mixtape front.
There was so much quality music this year, I don’t think ’08 can top it.

“Hot Thing” was like the 3rd single. “Listen” and “More Or Less” came out before hand. Ear Drum is a really good album (even if Kweli’s voice kinda wears you down) but Return Of The Mack was in the running but I feel those ten had the strongest presence amongst the 20 other solid albums in 07

thats sad but not so much surprising. Saw a documentary that sort of focused on him a few years back. Tragedy:The story of Queensbridge. Check it out if you can. in it it just seemed as if the guy gets caught up in some silly ass drama on the regular.

Big up to Tragedy man, he’s like my favourite artist from Queensbridge. I hope he gets out real soon and back to making that dope music. Don’t worry AmpGeez, I feel you (no homo) on that “Return of The Mac” album, I played that shit like 100 times last year! If Prodigy’s latest singles are any indication of what he’s coming with, then H.N.I.C. is going to be fucking insane. The Talib Kweli album was dope too, but I think “More or Less” was better than “Hot Thing”.
