The best way to stock up on old shit is BMG Music Club. You can catch them joints cheap as hell. They always have some sort of special going on. Even with s/h you can get them for under ten (plus their new.) They do usually make you get one at full price, but it’s still worth it with them being new.

agree w/ you… The Black didn’t do it for me like that. some of that album was filler for me. I felt like Jay was trying to force the urgency down my throat (no homoginization)
the blueprint was a more inspired, focused Jay to me b/c of all the extra-curricular’s surrounding the album, so the ‘drama’ was just in the music more naturally.
+ Kanye & Just Blaze did their things on the boards.

@flea – you should think about getting those jay-z joints used or at on-line site like half.com (this site is a goldmine for cheap music). it’s not like he needs the soundscan numbers. you can probably get both those for $10-15 total w/shipping – not sure how much shipping is to send it over the border.

anybody got links for the grey album? i slept on it, and can’t find a late pass anywhere.
