OnSmash put up a several new videos – including Murs, Willy Northpole, Consequence, Bangers & Cash, etc – so it was a tough choice on which to choose…so I chose the one with two of my favorite artists.

Does anyone know if there is a Gospel rip group or where i can find a few selections?
thanks in advance
for some reason i thought u had already posted this…
High possibility. Pretty sure it was a Youtubey before and now a higher quality joint via OS.
You’d a thought Atlantic would give Gizzle a bigger budget for the video. Looks like He’s still on Koch. .
@ amp
^Whatever Dude. Music snobbery is definitely not a good look.
no snob here…
^ You are buggin, Dude. I just gotta laugh at ish like that. I was 6 years old, still watching the Smurfs when Loose Ends dropped their 1st album. Their an obscure English R&B group with two modest hits in a career that spans over 20 years & You act like I’m missing out on Jimmi Hendrix or something. Seems like someone is stuck in the 80′s.
Is it me, or does Gizzle look like somebody’s little sister with those braids in his hair? Not hatin, i respect the man’s hustle, but damn.
If you wanna be really real, I think the whole discussion popped up sometime a week or two ago.
Souljah Boy is today’s Loose Ends…or UMC’s…or a hundred other artists who had a few noteworthy songs but fizzled.
Not knocking Loose Ends b/c I vaguely remember them. But I love it when cats try to prop up an artist, group or whole album when that shit only had 1-2 strong songs that got Video Soul or Rap City play lol.
@ Gotty – don’t be so quick to lump Soulja Boy in with those one-hit wonders…i think he’s got real staying power in the hip-hop game…muhahahahahahah
Co-signed by The Teflon Don himself =)
I tried to give Boogie props for putting Me on to an artist I’d never heard of, but Dude took that as an opportunity to try & clown, as if His musical tastes were somehow superior. You would think someone old enough to remember “Hanging On A String” would be a little bit more mature. Take pride that You were able introduce someone to something new instead of looking down ’cause they’d never heard of it before. Still, good lookin, “Ol Head”, no hard feelings =)
Kool G Rap?
I remember getting put on to Loose Ends (hot off the press) by one of my boys who dj’d, and that was some truly fly sh*t, but just to clarify, they were never like a Souljah Boy (never as popular) or UMC’s (weren’t riding in on a gimmicky sound), and more like a pre-neo-soul Floetry kind of group, that is to say, they were riding in Sade’s lane w/o nearly as much love – They got love on BET for sure, but never the mainstream accolades.
No disrespect to any of the OG’s who frequent TSS, ’cause I definitely respect the classics & appreciate it when I get introduced to some great music that was before My time. It’s the OG’s job to enlighten the young’uns, not get “stank” because of our ignorance.
true indeed. balance is necessary.
Loose Ends definitely don’t fall in the categories mentioned so I definitely exaggerated there. But I feel like a kid – there’s some days when I don’t give a fuck about who was hot when, looking in the rearview on some VH-1 “We love the 80′s/90′s” tip lol. I love the past. Dearly. But I love the future as well. And I love today the most.
^Real talk.
WOW… UMC’S… THEY FIZZLED BUT THAT FIRST ALBUM WAS LOVELY…
@ Sir G
no doubt.
I’ve got a lot of love (free of homoginization) for a lot of the cats who stop thru TSS regularly b/c of their shared love for a broad array of music. My .02 was just a lil’ more clarity (I knew you were exaggerating btw – didn’t fool me for a second) for someone, like in the case of Amp, who may come along, dl the link and have a liking and respect for something new (Loose Ends, Fela, Prince, etc) to them. None of us (I hope) has time enough in our schedule to be ‘up’ on everything, and shouldn’t be crazily ridiculed (although a lil ‘where were YOU?’ type sh*t talking is, and should be completely acceptable lol).
Forever forward indeed.
*free of homoginization
LMAO That’s a new one!
@ AMP
no love lost…

@ Boogie
No doubt.
Let’s all just do what has become the Crew’s celebratory dance – the Robot!
@Gotty – is the TSS Robot Major now? I think you got an idea for the next sticker…
the UMCs….I heard one of those guys was coming back out….hmmmmmmm.
;)
damn, away for a few wks, miss all the drama.
for the record, loose ends has some great tunes. Hangin On A String is one of my fav’s.
