Best show on television… brilliantly written, it’s got to be one of the most realistic shows I’ve ever seen. It’s also expertly paced, building tension until it bursts (usually in violence)… if you haven’t seen The Wire, you’re seriously missing out. It’s tough to get people hooked on it quickly though, because it takes into account shit that happened like 2 seasons ago. I’m so glad they put Season 4 on demand so I can brush up again before the new season starts without having to cop the DVDs.
Thank you Ed Burns and David Simon. Has anyone heard what these two are doing after The Wire? I read that David Simon was workin on something similar, but I can’t remember…

I read on wikkipedia that there are only 10 episodes in this season, that last 9 of the sopranos seemed a little rushed I hope this isn’t the case with The Wire. Don’t know when it comes out in UK either but always worth the wait. McNulty, Stringer and the mayor are all UK actors I think, pretty sure there was an episode of Queer as Folk where that mayor eats some dude’s ass which I suppose makes him perfect for politics…

This blog is a heads up to let y’all know that starting tomorrow, we will be kickin off “The 12 Days of Getback.” (Such a nice raing to it, don’t you agree?) I figured by now that most of you (the diehard fans and readers of the blog) are familiar enough with Getback to want a behind-the-scenes peek at all the album’s songs….so, that’s what I’m gonna do. Starting tomorrow, I’m gonna put up rough/alternate/demo mixes of each song, along with commentary and (in some cases), exclusive video from some of the producers and guests involved in the album.
I was really wary about lettin my guard all the way down and givin the world a peek into the creative process, but once me and Khrysis listened to some of these alternate mixes and realized some of the edits we made, these shits were too hilarious to keep to ourselves.
I’ll be putting up a song a day from tomorrow through New Year’s Eve and once New Year’s Day hits, I’m comin with somethin exclusive. NOTE: These joints will only be up for one day and once they’re gone, they’re gone forever…so once y’all get ‘em, spread the love and pass em around.
