I’m into the practice of New Year’s resolutions.
I recognize that, as much as I love myself, I’m a flawed human being who’s prone to bad habits and obnoxious behaviors.
And vices. Oh the vices.
My life is a constant battle, as I struggle to understand who I am while trying to visualize who I want to be. I believe the journey in between is what life’s all about. The New Year is a time to reflect, re-evaluate and move in new directions. It’s also a time to reconsider your relationships with the people and things you love, and how you can help them.
And hip-hop needs my help. And yours.
I’ve taken to following the sales numbers in recent months, and the picture is bleak. The top-tier names - Jay-Z, T.I., Curtis, Kanye - can move enough units to satisfy their record labels and…

Turk, I watched it….and there’s a 98% chance I’ll watch it again when it airs.
What did you think of it? I felt like it was real slow, but on purpose, to help set up what’s all going to happen.
From watching the special on the show, we know that the lady reporter & the guy who sits beside her are going to be key characters.
I’m wondering if I’m going to like the black dude who worked @ the paper as well. I kinda liked how he told the lady who worked for the city, “fuck you” in an off kind of way lol.

I watch S5E1 on HBO on Demand. They really picked a good platform to start this season off with. New characters are always welcome on this show to me. I’m still gonna watch it on the first night though. It’s worth a second viewing.
Word, Eardrum cost £16 in my local hmv, that’s $32, and they wonder why record sales are screwed.
