what up, before i say anything i’ll give you some background. i also am a dj and rapper on some albums ive produced, i was born and raised in new orleans and have been in the music industry a long time and i am a weezy fan also so dont let what im about to say offend you. okay yes i must say wayne is the “best rapper alive”. he’s got some of the sickest lyrics and all the features he will ever need. but that is because no one is pushing for that position, no competition right now. one rapper really high in my books is eminem, and right now he’s working on an album that could possibly beat carter 3. wayne was interviewed and was asked, “who would you like to work with in the future?” and he said “eminem please work with me PLEASE”….the reason people “hate” on lil wayne is because if your from new orleans, you know that (not all of his songs, but some) wayne is fake SOMETIMES NOT ALL THE TIME… the carter 3 actually made my respect for wayne go up, from listening what he had to say on the song “Dont Get It”, that was wayne being real, and you dont see that a lot in wayne, n that is why eminem wont work with him. But once again im not hatin on wayne, just giving you the facts. Wayne gives people what they want to hear, and that is what makes him Weezy F. Baby.

The whole mixtape game Lil Wayne puts out is to show that no matter what beat he’s presented with and no matter what subject matter ran with that beat before he can still murder it and I respect that. I mean ever since Vibe called him the best rapper alive he’s done nothing but basically slap other artists and “rappers” in the face by saying “hey this is your beat and your song and here’s my version” which millions of people think is better or just as good. He always produced solid albums and I enjoy the Leak immensely. I enjoy how he did some of the vocal synthisizing like T-Pain does. I think it sounds great. Stop hatin. Peace
