First up….
As always…RMF!!!
But seriously…no Cheri Dennis link…..lol
‘Reem
Got a video coming your way to post very soon!
I remember hearing the 1st verse of “Ruled Out” on a Kay-Slay mixtape back in the day & thinking “Wow, X is spazzing”. I knew I had heard that beat before it became “Gangsta Shit” off of the G-Unit album, just forgot where I heard it. I know people think it’s a wrap for The Darkman, but I know if He had the right people behind His project (Jay-Z, Rick Rubin, Swizz Beatz) & the right push, He could still move units. His lane is still wide open & the climate in Hip-Hop is right for a comeback.
Ahhh, now that’s what uhm tawmbout! School these fools on what a REAL posse cut should sound like. Back when cats would actually interact in the SAME DAMN STUDIO at THE SAME DAMN TIME.
Preemo!
Now THESE cats had a right to say “WE THE BEST!” (no DJ Khaled) back in the day.
This is one of the few posse cuts with 5 or more cats that was actually dope.
Greumst !!!!
pure shit ! hustlaz, haze and feelingz

Feel it in the air, reMMember
peace!
wait, I just peeped the Tower Records price label in the upper right hand corner of the vinyl. wow.
Is it safe?
Has the rampant PS3 MM3 stampede finally gone away having claimed their bounty?
Hmmm…. They should be feasting for some time, but if they should unexpectedly show their faces, I’ll shove this Chingy CD (wood) right through their greedy little hearts!
*sigh… unfortunately this is what happens when you listen to I Am Legend on audiobook*
Kareem – What’s the title of that joint? I’ll see what i can find.
NM – That’s the one thing I meant to include up there. “When the artists actually KNEW each other”
Five minutes of searching (4 on just finding out the title lol)

Search tip for all…
“Cheri Dennis Rapidshare”
“In And Out Of Love megaupload”
any and all variations of that and you’re good. new shit always turns up. Use combinations of the diff filehosts, artist name, album or song name.
you know you’re getting old when…
2 weeks ago you have to explain to a shorty who Preemo is, and actually argue his merits over Swizz Beatz.
Thanks Nonchalant Misfit, it took me til last week to find the autumn one and I’d given up on winter, me happy.
Shout out to “The D”:
Phat Kat – “Carte Blanche” instrumentals (beats by Dilla & Black Milk)

Gotty – the camaraderie between those artists is what contributed to the chemistry that created such a bangin’ track. Recordings like that capture the spontaneity of what went on at that time during the recording process, which is what makes it so ill.
Lupang – no prob. Slug is ill. Him, Phonte & Big Pooh are a few cats out of a handful that have lyrical content that I can actually relate to. word to all my blue-collar regular joes.
Good post Gotty.

Hi-Tek “Ohio All Stars” vid
Speaking of D Shots………Can someone post up some links for The D.O.C. 12″ vinyl rips? He’s one of hip hop’s worst tragedy stories!!
Here’s a freestyle from October 1994 in which Fat Joe uses the same verse he used on “1, 2 Pass It” in 1995….
