I suggest this one because I feel like Kid ‘N Play were the first hip-hop artists to successfully make the crossover into Hollywood… yeah the Fat Boys did it, yeah we’ve seen Krush Groove, and other films…but these guys created a franchise off this movie and their style of hip-hop.
These dudes were marketing geniuses…. way before Jay-Z, and 50 Cent. They even had their own cartoon!
How many rappers have their own cartoon?… on Saturday mornings?! (Ok…yeah, MC Hammer did. But besides him?)

“Days are longer”, is a big killing off, hip-hop as they make it less in less, the beat is high-powered, the combination of mc’s is terrible, everything sticks properly !!!

They gave everyone a cartoon back in the day. Remember Maculay’s “Wish Kid” and that one with Jordan, Gretzky, & Montana? Tone Loc had C-Bear and Jamal on Fox. He played C-Bear, but it was his show.
On a side note, did anyone know there was a House Party 4 with IMX & Megan Goode? It was on Comdey Central at like 3 in the morning. I was shaking my head like what the hell.
Does ANYBODY have Full Force’s “Ain’t My Type of Hype”? I’d be stupid grateful if so. I never knew out why it wasn’t on the soundtrack, when it’s probably the best track in House Pary 1, 2, 3, or 4. lol
