These fools got porn chicks, like Renee Richards, taking snapshots in vintage hip-hop tees as a part of their Freaky Fridays.
If they weren’t Rawkus fam, I’d be extremely jealous and probably sending viruses to all the available email addy’s I could find on their site. But since they are our e-cousins, we feel proud to be associated with such an endeavor.

– There’s a whole lot going on all of the sudden for Pap. He & Slay have spoken unabashedly about his departure from Jive. There’s always been a certain part of me pulling for cats like Pap and Sai to blow, even if we know they won’t. It’s even stronger with Pap because with tracks like “Law Library” he shows he’s got a humble nature laced with a sense of intelligence. A good thing about it all is I expect to see alot more material released from Pap now to help big his buzz back up although I don’t think “U Mad” or “Tough Love” are going to strengthen his case.
Boyz N Da Hood Ft. Yung Joc – Nothing Is Promised
– Not good. Not bad. There’s a gritty, dark depth to it. “I got a A-K in the seat & a Bible on the dash…”

– The rock has been moved & Lazarus rises from the dead. This might not get too much repeat action but it’s good to hear JoJo back on the block. His voice sounds a little more mature.

What happend to Papoose will also happen to Saigon, or Saigon his album will come out without any support just like Clipse. I don’t get these cats signing to idiot labels. Pap should leave Slay off his album anyway. Nobody but nobody is waiting on him screaming trough the songs.

Did Timbo produce the Britney track or did Danja? I can’t tell the difference anymore; it’s like I hear Timbaland produces everything, then I hear that Danja ghost-produced most of Justin and Nelly Furtado’s albums (which are Timbo’s biggest commercial hits, no doubt). THEN, I hear Danja talking at the end of Britney’s new single, and now, she comes out with another track produced by Timbo?
It doesn’t make sense to me, as he probably comes with a much higher price tag than Danja, and essentially you get the same style of track.

Pap should just go the independent route. Start from there onto a mainstream label as he improves his song making. If not, his album will never ever ever ever ever ever be released.

Yeah, Danja produced Brit’s first single, as well as tons of other hot beats recently (“We Takin Over”, Ja and Wayne’s “Uh Oh”, Paula DeAnda’s “Easy”, three of the best tracks on the TI album– Hurt, Tell Em I Said That, and Respect This Hustle, co-produced “Ayo Technology”)…
What I’m wondering is why the hell she would pay for Timbaland when she’s already been working with Danja, who probably comes at half the price. Oh who the fuck cares, it’s Britney… her career is over anyway haha.
Danja is fire though. I see him becoming a household name very soon.

Jive, IMO, isn’t all that bad for R&B artists: Kells, Ciara, Chris Brown, Donell Jones, T-Pain, Kelis, Ursher. And there’s some sucessful rappers on there too: Mystikal, E-40, Tribe Called Quest. It’s all on the A&R agent and your work ethic.
It doesnÂ’t make sense to me, as he probably comes with a much higher price tag than Danja, and essentially you get the same style of track.
It does make sense, because timbaland is a bigger name than danja. Even for Danja, they probabaly overcharged her a timbo beat and they both got what they wanted. cuz I’m sure danja would dip if he wasn’t compensated accordingly.
Unfortunately, it’s the way the industry works. Almost everyone has to go through it.
Kanye went through it, Timbo went through it, The Neptunes, etc.
It’s more common than you think.
And Danja is credited as producer of “Gimme More.” Timbo said that Brit dissed him (and this was just last week) so he stated that he wouldn’t work with her until she apologized.
