I know, I know…Saturday is supposed to be an old school video. But I’ve been feeling this song but the video puts it over the top. It gives the track the full vibe that’s sang in the chorus – “It’s New York.” I think this is the image that most out of towners have about what they city is like, which is not the flashing lights of Times Square, but the johnny pumps, project elevators and throngs of people. All it needed was a few sewer rats and I’d feel like I’d just received a round-trip visit to hip-hop’s home.
