I was playing FF way back before it got popular…drafted Terrell Davis *and* Curtis Martin in the same year and proceeded to murk everyone in the league (dumb luck). Rode Emmitt to a Super Bowl another year. Dallas played the NYG in the season opener on Monday Night Football and he snapped, setting the tone for the whole year. It’s all about the running backs, gentlemen.
FF is fun when you’re winning. Boring when you’re not. I’m glad a lot of people are into it nowadays.

I always play Yahoo FF – 3 or 4 seasons and the best I’ve finished is 2nd. That was last year and that 2nd place came courtesy of LaDainian Tomlinson. Seriously, that guy would single-handedly win games for me.

I’m debating on whether or not to play this year. I love beating people and I do well, but what gets me is that I’m also a huge football fan in general. So the years that I play FF, I always find myself watching and hoping for a score from one of my players rather than truly enjoying the game. And when you have a player such as a QB, RB, WR playing against your starting defense in the same game it kills you. Because while you need your player to put up some points, you’re doing so at the expense of your defense scoring points by keeping them out of the end zone.
I think I’ll just enjoy football by simply watching and not playing FF.
