You are late but a lot of folks slept on this and didn’t really appreciate it; it was one of the better movies of 06. The ending was killer. Oh, and Alan Arkin as the grandpa was a left fielder.
Well, I really only watch about 1 movie a month lol. glad I ended up on this one though.
Yea great movie. I actually thought some funky shit was gonna go down at the end and she’d win or something but I’m glad they kept it real.

I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell is a funny book. Grab it. I think dude’s name is Tucker Max or some shit.
Next up are Crime and Punishment, an Ayn Rand book I picked up…shit I read alot. I just don’t have the time or the desire to review everything I read nor do i think cats have an interest. But if you do, I’ll gladly tell you what I’m reading. My reading has actually been slow (now that I think about it) b/c I’ve been editing this lady’s book.
Plus Ian’s been throwing in his book reviews here and there.
But shit, I look to you all for good books. As you can see, my tendencies are all over the place so as long as it’s good and not some sci-fi shit, i’m liable to grab it.
Love this flick. Steve Carill might be my favorite comic actor right now for what he brings with the sarcasm/wry air.

It’s funny you posted this piece. I said to my roomate after the sunday night HBO ritual, ” i bet about 60% percent of the people that just watched all those shows will stay and watch this movie, because like the 3 HBO shows, it’s extremely well done.
That was only the second time i’d seen it, and liked it even better. It’s funy how you don’t see SuperFreak coming at all.

this movie was hilarious in a different sort of weird way. Each character was funny simply because they were real.
The brother’s burst out had me rolling. The whole van thing as well. The story was good, the comedy/funny scenes were on time, the actors did a good job… dope movie, got it on DVD.
