Admittedly, the NBA All-Star Dunk Contest lost it’s flair long ago but you have to give Dwight Howard credit for taking a stand while doing a creative dunk. Not only did he jump twelve and a half feet, he left there on the backboard a message for the entire world to see…just by leaving a sticker.

The sticker had an mage of Howard’s face, his initials, and his number, and there was handwritten marker – “All things through Christ” Howard wrote. Then “Phil 4:13.” as in Philippians 4:13.

I remember watching an ESPN special with the kid while he was in high school and shortly before being drafted and he had the same poise about him. We rarely hear about the “good” guys in the media so I guess he took the few minutes he had in the spotlight to make one of the biggest statements he’s ever made in his young career.

Moving forward…

Brittany is officially cuckoo.

This bird done shaved her head Sinead style, got a new tat or two and there’s, of course, the rehab reports.

Two things immediately come to mind…

- I love my kid but dear Lord do not let my child achieve fame & stardom @ an early age.

- $$$ cannot buy you piece of mind & happiness.
