Wu-Tang Clan Live @ MTV Europe (Audio)
I recieve all types of emails in my inbox. And usually, roughly 40% of them are worthwhile. The email that contained this mp3 one was one of the good ones…but I can’t find it to recant the story to you. All I remember is my dude said that this a live performance that was on MTV Europe, and that it took him a while to procur the audio. And once he did he felt it only right to share it.
What you’ll hear is…If you’ve ever seen the Wu perform live, especially during the early days, there was a chemistry and comraderie that was golden. And in this audio, you can hear it as they bounce back and forth over different beats, ad-libbing & finishing each others’ lines…
I guess what Nas said was true…
“Love changes, a thug changes/And best friends become strangers…”
Here’s an interesting wrap-up of ASG Weekend in Vegas by Sony In The ATL, complete with who had the best parties, which ones cost the most to get into and how tacky T-Mac was dressed.
Don’t forget, Byron Hurt’s Hip-Hop: Beyond Beats & Rhymes comes on tomorrow on PBS. Read Preach’s assessment of the show if you need reasons to watch.

“Rapture” is in my top 3 R&B albums of all time….
I pulled that one out of the personal collection to upload. Anita came thru and took the r&b scene by storm when she came out. I was young but I can remember how everyone was so caught up in her music & voice.
that oc demo sounds intersting.
anyway i can get a re-up of s&w dah shinin? that filefront keeps frontin on me….
longlive smokingsection….
I doubt that 8 diagrams is going to be nowhere good enough for the die hard WU fans, I just hope that they all jump on it and make a good WU record produced by RZA.
On a side note, does anyone have any Brand New Heavies albums, greatest hits or a few of their early albums, props if possible.

i went to a screening at my school for beyond beats and rhymes. byron hurt’s joint was real. i really felt the message he was portraying and it made me think differently of a lot of respected individuals in the hip-hop community.
you know the video for that Wu audio’s on Youtube, right?
