Thanks for that bit on Disco Dave Shayman. I grew up with that dude back in the day and he was over at my folks’ crib quite a bit through the elementary years. We discovered hip hop together and I lost track of him when he started really blowing up outside of Detroit. It is with deep regret and sadness that I have to attend his funeral at the synagogue located 60 seconds from my house on friday afternoon. RIP D.
