damn, talk about a blast from tha past.
That’s some shit. Good for Nas for bringing back the music from that era…
oh i didn’t know quast was gonna get deleted … my bad take my post down too then
Deleted.
Ignore status.
It’s not that serious. The music and the links are to be shared. Nothing more, nothing less.
SMH @ e-fame.
ol school homies…haha…nice
“Nothing more, nothing less” c-mon. it’s about respect, just post where u got it.
I give props to heads that arte not even on our board because they put in the work..
silly beychoes.. how u thing SS got fame?
it’s about respect, just post where u got it.
=============================================
LOL…I did. I got\\\’em from Dally, who unbeknown to you is affiliated w/a fairly large board. Here\\\’s a travesty of justice – someone stole some links from your board. And to further that injustice, they posted/or passed them to Dally who passed them along to us. Because see, that\\\’s what happens when people upload shit – the links get passed.
It\\\’s not that serious.
silly beychoes..

Not really a fan of that word.
how u thing SS got fame?
=======================
Fame? Far from it and never really aimed for it either lol.
e-fame? Maybe, but that shit doesn\\\’t translate to much, Kip.
If you want to continue w/the disussion, email me. Otherwise, I\\\’m pretty much done w/it.
Brent – I took your comment down, but only because. No need in even really giving dude too much energy.
did anyone get the uncut version of dre’s verse on throw some d’s on it (rmx)?
“unbeknown to you is affiliated w/a fairly large board.”
Ok Bro. you got everything covered…
LOL
Keep on.

1st tune for a long time to make me shiver!!!
Nice.
why is that slut who tried to rile up that whole jeezy vs. nas beef on this shit?
bulletroof i don’t think she was actually trying to stir controversy but jeezy has made these comments and made his bread butter as being an image and then he chafes when nas talks about hip-hop and lyrics. honestly jeezy being emotional about nas comments was funny because it flies in the face of what his cd’s are about and that he says he’s not a musician he’s a hustler. i think what monie failed to do however was oint out that jeezy is about buiness first and nas moves towards trying to be something that differs and she should have made jeezy seen the differences in this. i don’t think that you are adequately promoting to an intelligent conversation so maybe you should step out besides calling her an expletive because the stupidity in your statement further show that you don’t actually want to have a sincere conversation she is on the track because she is obviously must be cool with nas and nas also respects the architects that is the point of the remix to celebrate where hip-hop has come from its sad that that is the only comment you can muster
Slut? Ouch.
Is it time for a “women in hip hop” post? In the meantime, you can always Wiki her up.
Her conversation was started in hopes of him responding the way he did, and it worked. It started a huge thing on the internet, and controversy sells, so that means higher ratings for her next time her show is on. If you’re trying to say that “hip-hop is dead” and turning around and purposley saying something that you know is going to get one artist to say something he didn’t think through properly and probably doesn’t mean, then you’re just a hypocrite, which based on that one excerpt from her show, he is. Beef fucks up hip-hop more than anything else, and she merely contributed to what she was speaking out against by conducting that interview in the way which she did.
I meant that in an attention-whore sense of the word. Because obviously conducting an interview with a major artist with the intent of getting him to say something about another major artist got her more attention than anything else in the past few years
I’m so stoked about Lords of the Underground being on this track. Had Main Source been on it as well, my head would have exploded.
track is nutso
honestly i have zero interest in listening to this track. only ppl on their worth listening to just cause would be Dres. i use to listen to lords of the underground and das efx and i stopped listening to them for a reason so why the hell would i listen now. but good for nas for respectin his elders enuff to make a wack track. to bad that as much as nas loves his elders nas never learned from his elders and handle the business side of the game. shit he could have learned from real elders like james brown that he needs and should own his shit!
what happened to ill will records? now that hes on def jam does it really mean shit? more sells…yep but now he has his old label and def pocketing his profits. shits sad but i guess nas spent his time gettin high and never cared much about his paper. not that $ is everything or anything but if its his art makin it why wouldnt he want to pocket it.
AY CAN YOU PLEASE UPLOAD
O.C.-JEWLEZ
AGAIN….?
You can be a fan of rap music and not care about this cut, but if you came up in the era and live(d) the culture, you gotta hear this and smile. On tha Stremph
Yo, you forgot to list Chip Fu from the Fu-Schnickens. Anyway, thanks for the track; it definitely brought me back. Although, it’s kinda strange hearing fairly clean MCs like EST cursin and dropping “n”-bombs. Gotta keep up with the times, I guess…
cot damn, i feel old. i think i owned records from everybody on this track. i have so much respect for nas that it makes me sick. but then again, where the fuck is chubb rock and ill al skratch……peace

APATHY – BAPTISM BY FIRE – 2007
The best part of the song is using all the old beats for them to rap too. Also running a label isn’t for everybody. Nas to put all of his focus into his music. If he’s happy let him do him
Adding Snoop at the beginning and end is pretty corny. You guys are better than that.
