yeah dude, just a lower quality (128kbs versus 192kbs which is the usual bitrate of scene releases & retail rips)
its all more or less cd quality though, if youre not an audiophile

Webrip/group rip and all of that is basically sound quality in a nutshell. It depends on your preferences. Me, I liked the webrip of BE better than the retail or group rip. But it’s not always the case…hell download’em all, pick the one you like best when it’s all said and done, roll.

If that’s really Paris, this is quite interesting b/c I grew up on your music. Sleeping…was & still is a personal favorite.
While I see your point, I respectfully disagree. If you think one site is the reason why the industry is in a rut & is “dead” you’re mistaken.
When we post, it’s understood & been stated that we encourage cats to buy the album, go to shows, be vocal about their support for artists they feel put out quality music. For every one cat who grabs an album from here, he/she is most likely going out tellin 5-10 friends about an artist/album. While the face of how music is purchased & shared may have changed but a few things remain constant – good music will find the people & the people will spread the word.
Real is real, if it wasn’t for sites like US & Am I High constantly screaming out Clipse’s name, chances are they wouldve been forgotten in this “here today, gone tomorrow” music industry, esp after being on hiatus for so long. Then there’s others that, for whatever reason, may not have ever been heard of outside their immediate region or core fanbase.
We do our thing to support quality music, speak on the “glory days” that were before as well as those to come.
So as far as I’m concerned, hip-hop is far from dead. Anyone who thinks otherwise isn’t seeking out that which they say they want.
Furthermore, as much as we take from hip-hop, we do twice as much to help further it & keep it alive.
So if I’m guilty, I accept that.
Respect due & if you are indeed Paris, shoot me an email. I’d be interested in making sure another generation & posterity in general know of & hear your thoughts as well as your music.

Thanks GOD for SS!!… If it wasn’t for them dropping some albums (not all) in advance I would have given my hard earned dollar to some BIG WIG exec in the record industry. Also, if your album is wack then why expect anyone to buy it? If it’s good then you know people will drop the money to support it… and then maybe the artist will see some of the change from the sales after all they owe to the BIG WIGS…

Nope.
You have to download a program that specifically handles RAR files. WinRAR is what I use.
i wouldn’t say the production is anything groundbreaking. it takes a good back seat to the clipse. but yeah whoever said that jayz track.. that was one of the worst neptunes beats ive ever heard. i kind of wish ain’t cha didn’t make the albulm. of the songs i hadnt heart previously, i can’t stop spinning dirty money and nightmares though. shit is something else.

for the mac user – unrarX is a good program to decompress rar files. stuffit expander doesn’t work as well, it sometimes suffers from unknown glitches.
